New Jersey Mold Remediation
Serving the following counties:
New Jersey: Bergen, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Essex.

All houses have mold. However, to determine if mitigation is warranted we need to know if it's elevated or an unusual mold condition. This is why we recommend testing. Once the elevations are known we can established a protocol. First, we determine what is causing the problem and set up a plan of action to restore air quality in the house. Once remediated, preventative actions are implemented to prevent future problems.
What is mildew and is it different from mold? Mildew only grows on plants outdoors. The term mildew is often use by non-mold experts when they see mold around windows & bathrooms.
How long does it take mold to grow? If the temperature and moisture conditions are ideal for microbial growth and a food source (drywall, wood, insulation, ect.) is present, mold can grow in 24 to 48 hours.
Is mold dangerous? It depends on the type of mold and the person exposed to it. Not all molds are toxic. However, even non-toxic molds can affect your health, especially people with allergies and asthma.
